BRAZIL!
OH man, lost my password for this thing. haha. sorry everyone! Anyway, this is our last day in salvador brazil. brazil was nothing like i thought it would be, the only words to descibe it would be absolutely nutz. houses on top of each other, people with not a lot of clothes or shoes, the streets smell of urine, craziest cab drivers ever, very hot, and just no rules about anything. kids running around on the streets with no parents in sight, yesterday i saw a little boy playing with a machetti!! we are here for carnival, the biggest party in the world!!! it was sso amazing, i have never seen anything like it. i can~t even describe it. there were 2 million people in the streets. i also went to a local church, very interesting, a community filled of witchcraft, some beaches, and island, and a meat extravaganza restaurant, they bring you just plates and plates of wild boar, chicken livers, umm any meat you can imagine, so funny and very good. well we are leaving tonight for cape town, cant wait. im glad to leave salvador safely though, i was pretty much afraid for mylife every day. bye!! miss everyone

PUERTO RICO!!
Helloooooooo! I found an internet cafe in Puerto Rico. I am loving every second of this trip and can't believe we are actually here. I feel like i've been here for a long time already and its amazing. My roomate is from Maryland and we are so close already. My room has no window so its hard to get up, but its okay :). So far in PR, we went to the bioluminescent bay and it was amazing. If you look it up on the internet, it can explain it but it is some phenomenon with plankton which makes the water glow underneath you if you make any motion it will glow underwater. It kind of felt like Fern Gully. Then yesterday we went to a house further away in a poorer section of the commonwealth which was a great experience because it was away from the commercial areas. Our friend built that house this summer on missions so we surprised the family. They cried and it was really touching to see how thankful they were when the house was about the size of our garages. Every person on this trip is amazing and has a great story to tell. I have a main group of girls and a few guys here and there (the ship is 70 percent girls :-( ) that we all hang out with. The food is excellent, fresh fruits salads and veggies!! Also, it is just like a miniature cruise ship. Everything is new and beautiful. Well i have to run, don't want to miss the sunshine!!

Leaving Tomorrow!
Hey Everybody,
I figured that this would be easier than sending out mass emails during my trip since I don't get much internet time. I will be able to read emails every now and then so anyone can send me emails whenever at bandrew4@utk.edu... and I will do my best to keep up as much as I can, but they only give me 250 free minutes. But feel free to keep me updated as much as possible. I leave for the Bahamas tomorrow morning and I will be staying in the Atlantis. Then I board the ship at 10am on Sunday morning. Okay well I will try to update as much as I can.
